Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Wednesday's trade on Dalal Street as benchmark Sensex traded 257.62 points up at 57404.94 level on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Among these top gainers were Integra Garment(up 10.0%), Zenith Exports(up 10.0%), Advance Syntex(up 9.98%), Stanpacks Ltd(up 9.95%), Pressman Advertisin(up 9.91%), Mohite Industries (up 9.91%), Silver Pearl Hospitality & Luxury Spaces Ltd.(up 9.89%), Kachchh Mineral(up 9.88%), Premier Capital Services Ltd.(up 9.05%) and Deccan Health Care(up 8.32%).

In the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers included Power Grid(up 2.95%), M&M(up 2.28%), BPCL(up 2.22%), HCL Tech(up 2.01%) and Coal India Ltd(up 1.51%).


The Nifty 50 index was trading 73.6 points higher at 17057.15.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty pack, 41 shares traded in the green, while 9 traded in the red.
