Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Tuesday's trade on Dalal Street as benchmark Sensex traded 130.43 points up at 57275.65 level on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Among these top gainers were Captain Technocast(up 10.0%), EP Biocomposites Ltd.(up 9.99%), Ceejay Finance(up 9.51%), Weizmann Forex Ltd.[Amalgamated](up 9.43%), Elegant Marbles(up 9.29%), Tranway Technologies(up 9.17%), Nanavati Ventures Ltd.(up 9.09%), Cravatex Ltd(up 9.03%), Promax Power Ltd.(up 8.78%) and Svaraj Trading(up 8.72%).

In the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers included Britannia(up 2.14%), Power Grid(up 2.04%), HUL(up 1.63%), Cipla(up 1.57%) and Nestle India(up 1.55%).


The Nifty 50 index was trading 25.45 points higher at 17041.75.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty pack, 28 shares traded in the green, while 22 traded in the red.
