Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Tuesday's trade on Dalal Street as benchmark Sensex traded 682.09 points up at 57261.98 level on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Among these top gainers were Bhakti Gems and Jewe(up 10.0%), Stellar Capital Svcs(up 10.0%), Pearl Polymers(up 10.0%), Polylink Poly(up 9.96%), Optimus Finance (up 9.93%), Motor Gen Fin(up 9.84%), Jindal Hotels(up 9.81%), Singer India(up 9.47%), BNK Cap Market(up 9.35%) and Trishakti Elec(up 9.22%).

In the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers included Bajaj Auto(up 3.18%), IndusInd Bank(up 3.17%), M&M(up 2.96%), Hero MotoCorp(up 2.66%) and Sun Pharma(up 2.66%).


The Nifty 50 index was trading 207.15 points higher at 17161.10.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty pack, 47 shares traded in the green, while 3 traded in the red.
