Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Wednesday's trade on Dalal Street as benchmark Sensex traded 375.08 points up at 60991.97 level on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Among these top gainers were Times Guaranty(up 10.0%), Duncan Engineering (up 9.99%), Pil Italica Lifesty(up 9.95%), Tranway Technologies(up 9.93%), Metal Coatings(up 9.93%), Daulat Sec(up 9.92%), Sadhana Nitro(up 9.91%), Trescon(up 9.91%), Emmessar Biotech(up 9.9%) and RTCL Ltd(up 9.9%).

In the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers included Hindalco(up 1.81%), RIL(up 1.61%), SBI(up 1.41%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.38%) and Kotak Bank(up 1.19%).


The Nifty 50 index was trading 109.65 points higher at 18165.40.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty pack, 41 shares traded in the green, while 9 traded in the red.
