Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Monday's trade on Dalal Street as benchmark Sensex traded 444.11 points up at 74273.02 level on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Among these top gainers were ECS Biztech(up 10.00%), BNR Udyog(up 10.00%), Soni Medicare(up 9.98%), Valson Ind(up 9.97%), Bervin Invst(up 9.97%), Binani Ind(up 9.94%), Zenlabs Ethica (up 9.78%), India Lease Dev(up 9.75%), SecMark Consultancy(up 9.63%) and Step Two Corp(up 9.60%).

In the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers included IndusInd Bank(up 3.73%), Dr. Reddys(up 3.71%), Bajaj Finserv(up 2.88%), SBI Life(up 2.78%) and Adani Ent.(up 2.61%).


The Nifty 50 index was trading 144.1 points higher at 22541.3.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty pack, 36 shares traded in the green, while 14 traded in the red.
