NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shilp Gravures(up 19.99%), BDH Industries(up 19.99%), Bimetal Bearing(up 19.99%), Pradeep Metals(up 19.99%) and FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)(up 16.36%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 974.68 points up at 61588.38, while the 50-share index, NSE was 267.5 points up at 18295.7.
In the Nifty50 index, 45 stocks traded in the green, while 5 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Pradeep Metals, Telesys Info-Infra(I)Ltd., Cochin Minerals, Synthiko Foils and Ravalgaon Sugar hit their fresh 52-week high, while Mafia Trends Ltd., Supriya Lifescience Ltd., PrismxGlobalVent, Maral Overseas and CLC Industries touched their new 52-week low during the session.
