Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 15% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Sibar Auto Part(up 19.96%), Riddhi Steel and Tub(up 19.11%), Chemcon Speciality(up 18.64%), Mac Charles Ind(up 18.5%), Modella Woollen(up 17.92%), KPT Industries(up 16.33%), V R Films & Studios(up 16.03%), Misquita Engineering(up 15.38%) and KBS India(up 15.23%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 2.51 points up at 58855.58, while the 50-share index, NSE was 3.65 points down at 17521.45.


In the Nifty50 index, 25 stocks traded in the green, while 25 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Riddhi Steel and Tub, Fine Organic Ind., DRA Consultants, Yarn Syndicate and Atam Valves hit their fresh 52-week high, while Otco Intnl, Upasana Finance, Birla Tyres, Vipul Ltd and My Money Securit touched their new 52-week low during the session.
