Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 15% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Sumuka Agro Ind.(up 20.0%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 824.52 points up at 58838.69, while the 50-share index, NSE was 230.55 points up at 17570.4.


In the Nifty50 index, 43 stocks traded in the green, while 7 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Sumuka Agro Ind., Chemfab Alkalis, Parshva Enterprises, Dhanashree Electro and Sun Pharma hit their fresh 52-week high, while Palm Jewels, Lynx Machinery, Janus Corporation, Hind Nat Glass and Superior Finlease touched their new 52-week low during the session.
