Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 15% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Rajdarshan Ind(up 20.0%), Suraj Ltd(up 20.0%), Ansal Housing(up 19.95%), Modipon Ltd(up 19.92%), Motor Gen Fin(up 19.87%), Utique Enterprises(up 19.8%), S R Industries(up 19.67%) and Sarthak Metals(up 15.14%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 757.21 points up at 58390.86, while the 50-share index, NSE was 220.2 points up at 17396.9.


In the Nifty50 index, 46 stocks traded in the green, while 4 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Suraj Ltd, Rajdarshan Ind, Modipon Ltd, Motor Gen Fin and Utique Enterprises hit their fresh 52-week high, while Whirlpool India, Max Alert Systems Ltd., Trescon, Macro Exports and Kansal Fibres touched their new 52-week low during the session.
