Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 15% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Gini Silk Mills(up 19.99%) and Aki India(up 19.96%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 12.27 points up at 83454.77, while the 50-share index, NSE was 4.4 points down at 25456.9.


In the Nifty50 index, 23 stocks traded in the green, while 27 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Nitta Gelatin, Reliance Naval & Engg, Sumeet Ind, Joy Realty and Bio Green Paper hit their fresh 52-week high, while Nectar Lifesc, Fine Line Circuits, Sadhana Nitro, Omega Inter.Tech and Shri Niwas Leasing(PP)touched their new 52-week low during the session.
