Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Tuesday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, India Finsec(14.85%), Eimco Elecon(14.31%), Cupid Ltd(13.76%), Mitsu Chem Plast(13.51%), DCM Nouvelle(12.82%), South West Pinnacle(12.26%), The Investment Trust of India(12.21%), Polymech Mac(12.18%), Variman Global Enter(12.05%) and Shah Alloys(11.89%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 1558.04 points up at 76715.3, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 468.8 points to 23297.35.


In the Nifty 50 index, 46 stocks traded in the green, while 4 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Healthcare Global, Prataap Snacks, Gallantt Metal, Kaveri Seed Co. and Shivamshree Businesses hit their fresh 52-week high, while Quess Corp, Salona Cotspin, Prashant India, Tirth Plastic Ltd. and Eros Media touched their new 52-week low in trade.
