Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Wednesday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, VMV Holidays Ltd.(14.41%), Shiva Cement(13.63%), Hester Biosc(12.13%), Shri Bajrang Alliance(11.94%), Crane Infrastructure(11.66%), Swarna Sec(11.46%), Hardcastle Waud(11.34%), Triton Valves(10.74%), Danube Ind(10.32%) and Josts Engineering (10.03%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 406.18 points up at 76430.69, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 87.0 points to 23252.7.


In the Nifty 50 index, 28 stocks traded in the green, while 22 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as NACL Industries, Sharp Investments, POCL Enterprises, Jattashankar Ind and OneGlobalSvcProvider hit their fresh 52-week high, while Central Bank, Kay Power & Paper, Punjab Sind Bank, AGS Transact Tech and Gensol Engg touched their new 52-week low in trade.
