Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Wednesday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Howard Hotels(14.31%), Dhanlaxmi Fab(14.26%), Bhilwara Spin(14.16%), S P Capital Fin(14.02%), Polyspin Exp(13.82%), India Tourism(13.68%), Sonal Mercantile(13.53%), Suryavanshi Spinning Mills(13.31%), Agri-Tech(India)(12.72%) and Classic Filaments(12.61%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 478.79 points up at 73468.72, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 165.85 points to 22248.5.


In the Nifty 50 index, 41 stocks traded in the green, while 9 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Triumph International Finance India Ltd., Avanti Feeds, Sobhagya Mercantile, Dhanlaxmi Cotex and Gyan Developers hit their fresh 52-week high, while Gensol Engg, Motor Gen Fin, Universal Autofoundry, Suratwwala Business and Phaarmasia Ltd touched their new 52-week low in trade.
