Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Tuesday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Prima Agro(14.03%), Maha Rashtra(12.52%), Narbada Gems(11.35%), Intec Capital(11.35%), Shyamkamal Invst(10.93%), Thangamayil Jewellery(10.63%), Ravileela Granites(10.32%), Paramount Cosm(10.27%), TGB Banquets(10.11%) and Modi Rubber(10.00%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 274.41 points up at 74728.82, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 44.11 points to 22597.45.


In the Nifty 50 index, 30 stocks traded in the green, while 20 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Gyan Developers, Hira Automobiles, Mahan Ind, Rubra Medica and Triumph International Finance India Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while AGS Transact Tech, Indef Manufacturing, Suratwwala Business, Hipolin Ltd and VCK Cap Market touched their new 52-week low in trade.
