Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the on Tuesday amid in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Laffans Petro(14.13%), Multibase India(13.44%), Indag Rubber(11.75%), Udayshivakumar Infra(11.72%), Atam Valves(11.52%), PG Electroplast(10.82%), Darshan Orna(10.32%) and Keerthi Ind(10.22%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 777.92 points up at 78116.93, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 239.86 points to 23693.65.


In the Nifty 50 index, 44 stocks traded in the green, while 6 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Laffans Petro, Multibase India, PG Electroplast, Tokyo Finance and Siddha Ventures Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Honasa Consumer, Pressure Sensitive Systems, Morarjee Text, Cressanda Sol and Poddar Housing touched their new 52-week low in trade.
