Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 242.83 points up at 61275.09 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Jointeca Edu(down 20.00 per cent), Jet Infraventure(down 19.98 per cent), White Organic Agro (down 19.95 per cent), ANG Lifesciences Ind(down 19.59 per cent) and Kothari Fermen(down 19.05 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 14 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 86.0 points up at 18015.85.
On the BSE, Jointeca Edu, Jet Infraventure, ANG Lifesciences Ind, Kothari Fermen and Ester Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Prima Plastics, Finolex Cables, Zen Tech, Shree Krishna Infras and Sam Industries touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
