Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 146.59 points up at 59107.19 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Shashwat Furnishing Solutions Ltd.(down 13.04 per cent), Filtra Consultants &(down 12.31 per cent), Sheetal Diamond(down 12.00 per cent), Aravali Sec Fin(down 10.41 per cent) and Zenith Fibres(down 10.01 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 17 stocks closed in the green, while 33 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 25.3 points up at 17512.25.
On the BSE, Scintilla Commercial, Mehai Technology, Alok Industries, Unison Metals and Reliance Comm hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Remi Edelstahl, K&R Rail Engineering, Containe Technologies Ltd., Rajeshwari Cans Ltd. and Wonder Fibromats touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
