Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 478.59 points up at 57625.91 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Gian Life Care(down 13.67 per cent), Ind Renewable Energ(down 10.35 per cent), Paos Industries(down 10.00 per cent), Navoday Enterprises Ltd.(down 9.98 per cent) and Mystic Electronics (down 9.97 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 43 stocks closed in the green, while 7 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 140.05 points up at 17123.6.
On the BSE, BFL Asset Finvest, Trescon, A F Enterprises, Shubham Polyspin and Alan Scott Industrie hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Shashwat Furnishing Solutions Ltd., Zenith Exports, Advance Syntex, Shri Venkatesh Refineries Ltd. and Liberty Shoes touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
