Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 657.39 points up at 58465.97 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Advani Hotels(down 19.99 per cent), Ausom Enterprise(down 18.36 per cent), Cospower Engg (down 15.45 per cent), Stove Kraft Ltd.(down 14.30 per cent) and Lex Nimble Solutions(down 14.22 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 42 stocks closed in the green, while 8 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 197.05 points up at 17463.8.
On the BSE, RCL Retail Ltd., Fabino Life Sciences Ltd., Ovobel Foods Ltd, Suvidha Infra and Orchid Pharma hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Safa Systems & Technologies Ltd., Adani Wilmar Ltd., Shalibhadra Fin, Ugar Sugar Work and Naysaa Securities touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
