Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1016.03 points up at 58649.68 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Kaarya Facilities(down 19.90 per cent), Retro Green Revoluti(down 18.81 per cent), Austin Engg(down 13.50 per cent), Aryaman Capital(down 13.04 per cent) and Innovative Tech(down 10.12 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 45 stocks closed in the green, while 5 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 293.05 points up at 17469.75.
On the BSE, Janus Corporation, Whirlpool India, Alfa Transform, Skyline Ventures and Nova Pub hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Gujarat Lease, Rajdarshan Ind, Suraj Ltd, Modipon Ltd and Motor Gen Fin touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
