Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 619.92 points up at 57684.79 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Tanvi Foods(India)(down 9.97 per cent), Atishay (down 9.41 per cent), Sat Industries(down 7.59 per cent), Sonata Software(down 7.52 per cent) and Billwin Industries L(down 7.34 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 33 stocks closed in the green, while 17 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 183.7 points up at 17166.9.
On the BSE, Trescon, Walchandngr Ind, Rajputana Investment, Sparkling(India)and GCM Comm hit their fresh 52-week lows, while KDDL Ltd, Shreeji Translogisti, Amrapali Capital &, De Nora India and Ram Info touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
