Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 452.74 points up at 60737.05 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, UTL Industries (down 19.61 per cent), Atam Valves(down 13.80 per cent), Parnax Lab(down 12.78 per cent), Leading Leasing Fin(down 11.67 per cent) and Triveni Enterprises(down 10.77 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 36 stocks closed in the green, while 13 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 169.8 points up at 18161.75.
On the BSE, Triveni Enterprises, SBL Infratech Ltd., AA Plus Tradelink Ltd., Alfa Transform and Regency Investments hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Tata Motors, Tata Motors(DVR), Tayo Rolls, Arvind Ltd and Brahmaputra Inf touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
