Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 147.79 points up at 75449.05 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, SDC Techmedia(down 19.60 per cent), Relicab Cable Manufacturing(down 19.16 per cent), Uravi T and Wedge(down 17.38 per cent), Pentokey Organy(down 16.59 per cent) and Olympic Cards(down 15.24 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

The index closed 73.3 points up at 22907.6.
On the BSE, Relicab Cable Manufacturing, Arihant Tourne, ETT Ltd, Ratnabhumi Developer and H S India hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Swaraj Engines, Starlog Enterprises, Shukra Bullions, Vadilal Ind and Ajax Engineering touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
