Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 631.55 points up at 76532.96 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, HSIL(down 17.11 per cent), eMudhra(down 16.92 per cent), Visco Trade Associates(down 14.82 per cent), IFB Industries(down 14.12 per cent) and Hindprakash Ind(down 12.61 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 40 stocks closed in the green, while 10 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 205.85 points up at 23163.1.
On the BSE, Shree Pacetronix, Baazar Style Retail, Dhruva Capital, Power Mech Proj and Karda Const hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Blue Jet Healthcare, Ind-Agiv Comm, Aris Intnl, Manipal Finance and Naturite Agro Products touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
