Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 16.09 points up at 81526.14 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Superior Finlease(down 13.71 per cent), Devki Leasing(down 13.64 per cent), Indo Asia Fin(down 9.99 per cent), Blue Cloud Softech(down 9.98 per cent) and Sirohia & Sons(down 9.95 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks closed in the green, while 24 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 31.75 points at 24641.8.
On the BSE, VCK Cap Market, Indergiri Fin, Advance Lifestyles, Axtel Ind and Filatex Fashions hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Ascensive Educare, Prima Ind, SoftTech Engineers, Sujala Trading and Jetking Info touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
