Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 110.58 points up at 80956.33 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, KBS India(down 17.63 per cent), EP Biocomposites(down 11.77 per cent), Omni Axs Software (down 11.46 per cent), Relicab Cable Manufacturing(down 9.99 per cent) and Choksi Imaging(down 9.99 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 22 stocks closed in the green, while 28 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 10.3 points at 24467.45.
On the BSE, Dhanvarsha Finvest, Aki India, Rajesh Exports, Grandma Trading and Capital Small Finance Bank hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Venmax Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Niva Bupa Health Ins, Vadilal Enterprises, Lincoln Pharma and Bharat Bhushan touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
