Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 901.5 points up at 80378.13 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Intnl Comb Ltd(down 14.52 per cent), Gabriel Pet Straps(down 12.33 per cent), Clarus Infra(down 12.04 per cent), Galaxy Bearings(down 11.03 per cent) and KP Green Engineering(down 10.60 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 40 stocks closed in the green, while 10 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 270.75 points at 24484.05.
On the BSE, Galaxy Bearings, Raymond Lifestyle L, MT Educare, Ceigall India and Ola Electric Mobilit hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Parnax Lab, Hindustan Hardy, KRN Heat Exchanger, Omansh Enterprises and Kiran Vyapar touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
