Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 874.94 points up at 79468.01 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Fusion Micro Finance(down 20.00 per cent), Transpact Enterprise(down 19.98 per cent), Sanghvi Movers(down 13.51 per cent), Containe Tech(down 10.00 per cent) and Scarnose International(down 9.99 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 41 stocks closed in the green, while 9 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 304.96 points up at 24297.5.
On the BSE, Fusion Micro Finance, ObjectOne Information Systems, Remedium Lifecare, Vishvprabha Ventures and Spectrum Foods hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Vadilal Enterprises, Sunedison Infra, BASF India, Rajdarshan Ind and OrientalAromatics touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
