Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 354.45 points up at 75038.15 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Reliance Infra(down 19.98 per cent), Arihants Sec(down 17.21 per cent), Indong Tea Company L(down 11.73 per cent), Quality RO Industrie(down 11.11 per cent) and Jayatma Industries(down 10.35 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks closed in the green, while 19 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 111.05 points up at 22753.8.
On the BSE, Maha Corp Ltd, Ind Renewable Energ, Nouveau Global, Yarn Syndicate and SRM Contractors hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Ravileela Gran, Polo Queen Industria, Rajkamal Synth, Ganges Securities and Emkay Global touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
