Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 612.21 points up at 71752.11 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, APM Industries(down 12.70 per cent), City Crops Agro(down 12.51 per cent), Nat Plastic(down 11.65 per cent), Upasana Finance(down 10.35 per cent) and Maral Overseas(down 9.61 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 46 stocks closed in the green, while 4 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 203.61 points up at 21725.7.
On the BSE, GSS Infotech, Ellora Trading Ltd., Vedant Fashions, Automotive Axle and VIP Ind. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Jyoti CNC Automation, Vakrangee, Dolat Invst, Sayaji Hotels(Indore)Ltd. and SKP Securities touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
