Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 33.57 points up at 69584.6 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Tranway Technologies(down 19.39 per cent), Shreeshay Engineers(down 19.00 per cent), Axita Cotton(down 18.02 per cent), Adeshwar Meditex(down 11.81 per cent) and SVJ Enterprises(down 10.00 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks closed in the green, while 19 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 19.95 points up at 20926.35.
On the BSE, Tranway Technologies, Econo Trade(I), Synthiko Foils, Adhbhut Infrastructu and IFL Enterprises hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Machino Plastic, HOV Services, Cambridge Tech, Cyber Media Ltd and Shristi Infra touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
