Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

In the Nifty pack, 46 stocks closed in the green, while 3 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 742.06 points up at 65675.93 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Retina Paints(down 19.65 per cent), Promax Power(down 13.96 per cent), Supershakti Metaliks(down 13.38 per cent), Innokaiz India(down 12.48 per cent) and Transvoy Logistics(down 12.26 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 46 stocks closed in the green, while 3 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 231.9 points up at 19675.45.

On the BSE, Rajesh Exports, Prabhat Tech, Adhbhut Infrastructu, Ritesh Intnl and Compuage Infocom hit their fresh 52-week lows, while G G Dandekar, Protean eGov Techno, Ashika Credit, Remi Edelstahl and BCPL Railway Infra touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
