Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks closed in the green, while 21 stocks ended in the red.

Nifty moved in a tight range of 82 points, and ended slightly below the psychologically crucial level of 15,700.
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 11.43 points up at 65087.25 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Ridings Consulting(down 19.76 per cent), PM Telelinks(down 11.67 per cent), Transwarr Fin(down 11.16 per cent), Promax Power(down 9.99 per cent) and Tierra Agrotech(down 9.98 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks closed in the green, while 21 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 4.8 points up at 19347.45.

On the BSE, Tranway Technologies, Ganga Pharmaceutical, Ramasigns Industries, Ambassador Intra and Padmanabh Alloys hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Bondada Engineering, Ken Financial Services Ltd., Shakti Pumps, Tower Infra Trust and Innokaiz India touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
