Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 499.39 points up at 63915.42 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Earum Pharmaceutical(down 16.39 per cent), PM Telelinks(down 11.84 per cent), Dhyaani Tile and Mar(down 11.82 per cent), Kesar India(down 10.84 per cent) and Hindustan Bio(down 10.59 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 42 stocks closed in the green, while 8 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 154.7 points up at 18972.1.
On the BSE, Power & Instrument, Bizotic Commercial, Eastcoast Steel, Ansal Prop and A F Enterprises hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Arihant Found, Aartech Solonics, JBM Auto, Windsor Machine and Dhunseri Petrochem touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
