Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 274.12 points up at 61418.96 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Nxtdigital(down 84.24 per cent), Roni Households(down 20.00 per cent), Cospower Engg (down 20.00 per cent), TeleCanor Global(down 15.32 per cent) and GCM Comm(down 15.22 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 84.25 points up at 18244.2.

On the BSE, Jet Airways, Jyoti Structure, Pace E-Commerce Ventures Ltd., Olectra Greentech and Supra Pacific Manage hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Easy Trip Planners Ltd., Filtra Consultants &, Jay Ushin, UCO Bank and Concord Control Systems Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
