Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 257.43 points up at 59031.3 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, GKP Printing & Pack(down 19.99 per cent), G V Films(down 19.79 per cent), SSPN Finance L(down 9.99 per cent), GCM Capital Adv.(down 9.16 per cent) and New Light Apparels(down 9.09 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks closed in the green, while 12 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 86.8 points up at 17577.5.
On the BSE, Milestone Furniture, GVK Power Infra, S M Gold, 8K Miles Soft and Sanofi India hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Nikhil Adhesive, SecMark Consultancy, King Infra Ventures, PTC Industries and Markolines Traffic Controls Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
