Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1344.63 points up at 54318.47 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, EKI Energy Services Ltd.(down 16.81 per cent), B P Capital(down 15.48 per cent), Anjani Finance(down 11.36 per cent), Shri Krishna(down 9.98 per cent) and Dhanashree Electro(down 9.89 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 49 stocks closed in the green, while 1 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 417.0 points up at 16259.3.
On the BSE, Cigniti Tech, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Vanta Bioscience, Global Longlife Hospital and Research Ltd. and Svarnim Trade Udyog hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Honda Siel Power, Gorani Ind, Megastar Foods, Mehta Housing and Naysaa Securities touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
