Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks closed in the green, while 20 stocks ended in the red.

Nifty moved in a tight range of 82 points, and ended slightly below the psychologically crucial level of 15,700.
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 187.39 points up at 57808.58 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Super Sales Ltd(down 13.22 per cent), Lasa Supergenerics(down 12.97 per cent), Texmaco Rail(down 12.81 per cent), Sky Industries(down 12.77 per cent) and NGL Fine Chem(down 12.35 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks closed in the green, while 20 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 53.15 points up at 17266.75.

On the BSE, Lasa Supergenerics, Sansera Engineering Ltd., Superior Finlease, Milestone Furniture and Yuranus Infrastruct hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Poddar Housing, Narbada Gems, Mahalaxmi Rub, TVS Electronics and Advani Hotels touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
