Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 848.4 points up at 58862.57 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Shilp Gravures(down 11.82 per cent), Mercury Laboratories(down 11.31 per cent), ICL Organic Dairy(down 9.96 per cent), HP Cotton Text(down 9.89 per cent) and Jointeca Edu(down 9.84 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 36 stocks closed in the green, while 14 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 237.0 points up at 17576.85.
On the BSE, Source Natural, Janus Corporation, Lynx Machinery, Suvidha Infra and MAC Hotels hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Sumuka Agro Ind., Bharat Road Net, BN Rathi Sec, Megastar Foods and Ganesha Ecosp touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
