Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

In the Nifty pack, 36 stocks closed in the green, while 14 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 366.64 points up at 57858.15 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Lux Ind.(down 20.00 per cent), IndiaMART(down 14.40 per cent), Shri Keshav Cem(down 8.88 per cent), APL Apollo Tube(down 8.14 per cent) and Dolfin Rubbers(down 7.24 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 36 stocks closed in the green, while 14 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 128.85 points up at 17277.95.

On the BSE, IndiaMART, CarTrade Tech, Superior Finlease, Hind Nat Glass and Palm Jewels hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Aris Intnl, Sharda Cropchem, Punjab Alkalies, Pressman Advertisin and ABB Power touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
