Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 886.51 points up at 57633.65 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Athena Constructions(down 18.60 per cent), Diksat Transworld L(down 10.79 per cent), Amaze Entertech(down 9.99 per cent), Superior Finlease(down 9.87 per cent) and Relic Techn(down 9.67 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 45 stocks closed in the green, while 5 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 264.45 points up at 17176.7.
On the BSE, Athena Constructions, Emergent Global Edu, Sparkling(India), ANS Industries and Stephanotis Finance hit their fresh 52-week lows, while DMR Hydroengineering & Infrastructure Ltd., Hitech Corporation, Racl Geartech, Ramky Infra and Modison Metals touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
