Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 158.32 points up at 82055.11 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Superior Finlease(down 18.06 per cent), GCM Comm(down 12.90 per cent), Kaira Can(down 10.15 per cent), Aananda Lakshmi Spin(down 9.97 per cent) and Integrated Hitech Ltd.(down 9.96 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

The index closed 72.45 points up at 25044.35.

On the BSE, Tierra Agrotech, Lasa Supergenerics, Salguti Industries, Nutricircle and Sadhana Nitro hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Mardia Samyoung, Greycells Edu, Shyamkamal Invst, Shree Global and Lakshmi Mills touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
