Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 535.24 points up at 75901.41 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Omni Axs Software (down 20.00 per cent), Anant Raj(down 19.99 per cent), Apar Industries(down 19.94 per cent), InfoBeans Tech(down 19.62 per cent) and KK Shah Hospitals(down 18.01 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 25 stocks closed in the green, while 25 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 128.1 points up at 22957.25.

On the BSE, InfoBeans Tech, Nikhil Adhesive, Punjab Chemical, Concord Drugs and Madhusudan Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Benares Hotels, Sashwat Technocrats, Ind-Agiv Comm, Reliance Naval & Engg and Yash Trading touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
