Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

In the Nifty pack, 21 stocks closed in the green, while 29 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1.59 points up at 81510.05 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, VCK Cap Market(down 20.00 per cent), Olympic Cards(down 18.75 per cent), Sancode Technologies(down 10.00 per cent), Rajdarshan Ind(down 9.99 per cent) and Rose Merc. Ltd.(down 9.96 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 21 stocks closed in the green, while 29 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 8.96 points at 24610.05.

On the BSE, Mishtann Foods, IGC Industries, Advance Lifestyles, Rossell Techsys and WABCO India hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Prima Ind, Chemo Pharma, Shilp Gravures, Sujala Trading and Orient Press touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
