Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 239.37 points up at 77578.38 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Purple Entertainment(down 20.00 per cent), Shivansh Finserve(down 20.00 per cent), Bhartia Bachat(down 13.07 per cent), Taylormade Renewable(down 10.85 per cent) and Honasa Consumer(down 10.83 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks closed in the green, while 24 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 64.71 points at 23518.5.
On the BSE, Taylormade Renewable, Honasa Consumer, Pressure Sensitive Systems, Hinduja Global and Cressanda Sol hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Multibase India, Joonktollee Tea, CarTrade Tech, Siddha Ventures Ltd. and Tokyo Finance touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
