Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

In the Nifty pack, 22 stocks closed in the green, while 28 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 60.14 points up at 81415.98 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Aditya Ispat(down 14.23 per cent), Nxtdigital(down 13.79 per cent), ideaForge Technology(down 11.79 per cent), Nanavati Ventures(down 10.92 per cent) and Mayur Floorings(down 9.96 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 22 stocks closed in the green, while 28 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 21.21 points up at 24857.3.

On the BSE, Confidence Futuristic Energetech, Yashraj Containeurs, SecUR Credentials, Nirmitee Robotics and PS IT Infra hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Fiberweb India, KLK Electrical, Oceanic Foods, VMS Industries and Perfect Octave touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
