Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 712.44 points up at 78053.52 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Ascensive Educare(down 20.00 per cent), Tanvi Foods(India)(down 20.00 per cent), Achyut Healthcare(down 11.40 per cent), Source Natural(down 10.71 per cent) and Transpact Enterprise(down 9.98 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks closed in the green, while 23 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 183.46 points up at 23721.3.
On the BSE, Mudunuru, Sawaca Business, Future Supply Chain, Remedium Lifecare and VCK Cap Market hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Jindal Photo, Yamuna Syndicate, Somi Conveyor, Globus Power and AmaraRaja Batteries touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
