Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 30.99 points up at 71386.21 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Haria Exports(down 13.40 per cent), Promax Power(down 13.11 per cent), Ashapuri Gold Ornam(down 12.06 per cent), Suryalakshmi Cot(down 11.91 per cent) and AVI Products India (down 10.57 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 27 stocks closed in the green, while 23 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 31.85 points up at 21544.85.
On the BSE, Adhbhut Infrastructu, Muthoot Microfin, Raj Rayon, Gandhar Oil Refinery and Azad Engineering hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Motisons Jewellers, Wardwizard Innov, Mercantile Ventures, Wallfort Fin and Pondy Oxides touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
