Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks closed in the green, while 12 stocks ended in the red.

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 261.16 points up at 66428.09 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Ultracab(India)(down 13.89 per cent), Vedant Asset(down 13.81 per cent), Franklin Leasing & F(down 9.96 per cent), Safa Systems & Tech(down 9.95 per cent) and Square Four Project(down 9.90 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks closed in the green, while 12 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 79.75 points up at 19811.5.

On the BSE, Bansisons Tea, IndiaNivesh Ltd, Manraj Housing, SJ Corporation and Skyline Millars hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Innovative Tech, KIOCL, Tai Industries, Sujala Trading and Keynote Financial touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
