Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks closed in the green, while 22 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 5.41 points up at 62792.88 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Sky Gold(down 19.43 per cent), Darshan Orna(down 12.22 per cent), Baba Arts(down 11.10 per cent), Dhanashree Electro(down 10.50 per cent) and Prerna Infra(down 10.38 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks closed in the green, while 22 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 5.15 points up at 18599.0.

On the BSE, Baba Arts, Vanta Bioscience, Decillion Finance, Milgrey Finance and Future Enterprises (DVR)hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Sunshield Chem, Maan Aluminium, SK International Exp, Ceinsys Tech and ADF Foods touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
